The Upsetters — Taste of Killing
I didn’t know this song by The Upsetters, and listening to the great Trojan skinhead reggae collection I spotted it and voilà I’ve had this melody in my head all week…
This, along with the fact of getting off work when there’s still light in the streets has brought a fake feeling of “Summer is just around the corner.lol.NOPE”. But still, it feels good, it has a nice warm sound, that will make you move even if you don’t want to. Ahh, LOVE IT.

Top Ten Albums of All Time
I’m terrible at making lists of what I think are the best albums/songs/artists/whatever, I just find there’s so many great stuff out there I kind of feel I should put them all. However I’ve managed to make a top 10 of my favorite albums of all time, so yeah, check it out!
PS: You will see that I failed at choosing just one favorite track out of each album.
Hi! Here’s my top ten albums of all time.

Metallica — Fight Fire With Fire
So freaking good. Loving the sudden change of rhythm in the beginning.
We’re still accepting submissions through this weekend for our second Submissions Week which starts on Monday.
Here’s a refresher. You, yes you, can submit your own post in the style of Soundboard (endearingly referred to as the wall of text), and we’ll each pick one to post next week, words and all. Pick a song you’ve been digging lately and tell us why you picked it! Feel free to include a link to it on Bandcamp, Soundcloud, or YouTube so we make sure we have the correct version.
Why aren’t you submitting this very second and telling your friends? Stop reading and send that in, ya dingus!
Last day, peeps! I want to listen to your favorite songs, what are you waiting for?! Come on, submit!

Dead Kennedy’s — Holiday In Cambodia
With their sarcastic and ironic lyrics, this band expressed their point of view on the 80’s society and politics and created controversy wherever they went, in fact, due to the controvertial name, there were sometimes that the band had to use different names during gigs, and some of their artwork albums where banned or censored as well. But that’s what punk was about, to go against everything, whether it was politics, religion, consumerism or society rules.
And well, this song is no exception, it compares the 80’s lifestyle of young Americans with the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia.
This was the first song by the Dead Kennedy’s I ever listened and one of their most famous ones too. Like it or not, songs like this make people think.
Untill next Thursday!
